Illegal immigrants need to be stopped. It affects many Americans here in the U.s because of the fact that the illegal immigrants will work for long and cheap hours, and it also becomes a problem when gangs and convicts start coming over and causing more problems. I think that the government is doing their best to keep illegals out.

Illegal immagrates should not be tolerated as much as they are today. I dont understand how so much of it actually works for them. we have all these laws and 24/7 servallance of all towns and citys. Also, its as if we almost incorudge it. They have funded housing for illegal immagrates for shit sake.

I believe that illegal immigration is a major problem. I believe that if they want to come into our country they should do it the legal way. They are taking many jobs away from the real american citizens just because they will work for so little. I feel that the US should crack down on the borders with more security and sticter laws to allow people into the US.

Illegal Immigration affects each and everyone of us in one way or another by less jobs with them here as they will be cheaper labor. I thinks it helps this country because not everyone is willing to do what they do for such small sums of money. The only bad thing is they do not pay taxes which would reeally help social security not run out for the baby boomers. I think the goverment should do everything it can to limit illegal immigrant but for the ones that do get in should be able to aply for citizenship if they can prove they have a stable enough job and houshold just so the goverment can get there tax dollars. Weather we like it or not illegal immigrants help this country by making prices for goods lower as it is cheaper to make these goods.

illegal immigration will always be a problem in out country as long as we are the most powerful country in the world. tell me if you were in a different country and life sucked you would try to get into the states. i am a first generation to be born in the United States on my dads side. i am very greatful to be born here and live here. i can not blame people for trying to get a better life over here. that was what my dad and his parents did. you will never get rid of it you can just try your best to take care of these people and give them a better life. I think illegal immagration does need to be stopped. I dont mind if they move here legally but if they just cross the border and dont become citizens they think they can just come in and do whatever they want. they steal many peoples jobs, they start gangs and violence, the only think good they do is have the ability to bring in some good pot. There really is nothing the government can do since we share a border. the only thing we really could do is build a giant wall and shoot anyone who tries to cross it.

I am not a fan of illegal immigrants, but they do help us out. Who else would go around mowing lawns in the summer heat for as little money as they get paid? If they didn't there would be other people doing these jobs and I guarantee they would want more money for it then they do.

First and far most the United States is a free country. I believe this is why so many people are trying to get in, but I may be mistaken.
Lets go with Mexicans, not that I have anything against them, because I do not. They have nothing in their country. No jobs and no way to support their families. I find this very sad. But the United States needs to stop the flow until we can support the people we have. At this point in time there are not enough jobs to support the American people.
I understand their will always be poverty but if we help us first and once that is accomplished then try and help others I think that would be a much better solution.
Illegal immigrants are CRIMINALS and should be treated as such.They come here and work for less and some stupid son of a bitchin american business man hires them and that takes jobs from us.So that makes us partially to blame too.I think all illegals should be deported.If they come into the country in a legal fashion than thats ok.It pisses me off tho that I need to learn Spanish just to get by in everyday living.I think if you come here you must learn the language,just as my great grandparents did and probably yours too.
I think immigration needs to be stopped. Shoot those fuckers when they try and cross, and if they are found in the US shootem then. That way noone has to worry about them trying it again. Our government is way to lienant towards these bastards. Is our country, keep it that way.

It really isnt that hard to become an american citizen. The people that are coming over here dont really bother me that bad i just wish that they learned some freakin english first.

I personally am not hurt by it. Many of them work harder than most Americans and they are just trying to make a better life for themselves. Sure there are some that are bad, but there are Americans who are bad to. Don't judge them until you go live their life and see why they wanted to come to America.
I think that it is a real problem. People comming here illegally that arent citizens but since there here they have the same rights as me. Thats messed up. We spend so much money trying to catch and encarseate these people that could be used for other things. I dont think it affects everyone personally, but it doee affect our country. Unemployment, homelessness, welfare all are affected. I dont know how the government could handle it without pissing even Americans off but if you let anyone who really cared about this problem go down there, I bet we could change some minds about comming over here illegally.
Illegal immigration is wrong to me, if you don't have the legal rights to be here, you obviously shouldn't be. That is why it is called illegal immigration. It does affect everyone in some way or another. You have these illegal immigrants working under the table and collecting our US currency and sending it home. That hurt's our economy because our money isn't getting put back into our economy. All of these under the table jobs could be turned into payroll jobs helping to stimulate our economey as well. The government needs to crack down more. There's got to be a more effective way of keeping illegals out than border patrol officers.
I would create greater consequences for illegal entering the U.S. If you are going to live here and make our money yo need to pay into our benefits and taxes like everyone should have to.
illigal immigration is a major problem here in the US. It does in a way affect americans because many illigals come here and get jobs. ALthough they do alot of the shit work that no one else wants to. But, right now in american we have a huge unemployment rate and i bet that there are some Ameericans out there that would be willing to do a job that they previously would have turned down. The goverment should catch as many illigals as possible put a chip under there skin and send them back. then we could keep track of offenders and know if the ever try to cross the border agian.

Seriously? Shoot them in the head? Yea when the volcano in yellowstone erupts and you have to flee to Mexico let's see you take that stance. I understand the problem with illegal immigrants, but if I was in their shoes I might do the same thing. It costs money to become a U.S. citizen. Yes, there are work visas, but how many of them do you think know that? If it meant my family starving or me crossing illegally, I'd cross illegally. We're not gonna be able to build a wall and keep them out. There's no quick fix to the problem. It's gonna piss a lot of people off when I say this, but I've probably already done that. The way to fix this is to help Mexico, not shut them out. Help them stimulate their economy and root out corruption in state and local governments. We have to help them build their middle class. No, it's not a quick fix, and it's a difficult task; however, it could be a permanent solution. Yes, I know we're in a recession. It won't last forever, though.

No matter what you think about immigration is your business but the people that are immigrants is no the problem. Say the united states do a very good job of banning. Gangs, war, crime will go on. No matter what you do it will go on. Illegal people are not bad people are bad.
