As you know, the world is widely different, made up of individuals with their own tastes and styles. Different regions of the world have different lifestyles and behaviors based on the beliefs and systems valued in their culture. People in one culture are often raised to have different values from those raised in other cultures. What we in our culture see as normal might be seen as stupid or inhumane by people in other cultures. Sometimes individuals within one culture even pick fights with individuals in other cultures to try to force them to see things as they see them. How can we call ourselves civilized human beings when we turn on each other and even kill each other over cultural disagreements? Why can't people get along with others despite their differences? Who is to say who is right or wrong when entire cultures are in conflict with other cultures? If no one is right and no one is wrong, why do people kill each other over their disagreements?

There are a lot of people out there that believe their opinions and beliefs are the only right ones. The comment I have heard made by more than one of this type person is "If everyone was like me the world would be perfect!" If we were all the same the world could not function. There is a line in a song that says " Everybody wants to rule the world" that to me is what causes a lot of the conflict. People need to realize that it is OK to disagree. Unless peoples' belief cause unjust and inhumane treatment of others then let it be.

In the world, there are always going to be people who disagree. Since everyone was raised in a different type of household no one is ever the same. A lot of times, people are almost ignorant in the way they see other people because they believe that their way is the only right way for everything to be done. In a sociology class in high school, we watched a movie where they went into three very different cultures and look at things like lip plates where the girls begin stretching their lips by inserting clay plates into their lips. Everyone in my class was disgusted but then my teacher started talking about things that we do in America like piercing out ears and belly buttons. The more we talked, the more people began to realize how different every culture is. No one is really right in any situation. It is just an opinion and everyone is entitled to one.

Like the original post stated, the world is different. Every culture and individual person is different, and that will always cause disagreement. What we see as right other cultures see as wrong and that a lot of the time turns into violence. As unfortunate as it is, war and conflict will always be a part of life. There is no perfect being, and with the way humans are wired, there will be no peace in the world anytime soon.

Well to start off "most" of us are civilized human beings. We all get along for the most part, but there are a lot of people out in the world that don't. I feel it is due to the way they are raised. Where I come from I was raised to not hate people you disagree with, you kind of just let them talk and go on with life. Whereas other people were raised around violence and they think that that is the only way to solve the problem.

It all depends on the person and how they were brought up in the world, because people are only going to do whatever they know to do, or whatever they were taught to do. Most people can be civilized until the next person trys to jump hard or have something smart to say to that individual. It really all depends on the person and there attitude whether they are going to be or act civilized or not.

In order to believe in right or wrong one must first believe that there is an objective truth. A chair has always been a chair, there is no way to argue that that object is not a chair. This is the same for morality. It has always been wrong to kill another human being. One might rebel and say that it is okay, and people may follow, but when it comes down to it in the end it is not okay. I think people are too stubborn in today's society to agree on anything. It is always one extreme or the other.

I think that we all have perseptions on what is right and wrong and the law is the basic guid lines for right and wrong, but in certin sittuations people chose what the belive and thats not always right. We have to follow the laws but it is for sure that we all have diffrent perceptions of the right and wrong things to do. There will always be somone that thinks what you did is wrong and there will always be somone that says i would habe done the same thing, you just have to have your own perception of right and wrong and try to live by the rules the best you can.

When people are raised and taught certain behaviors or beliefs they stick to them up until their an adult. This is how they were taught and raised to be, so they think their actions are okay to do. Everyone is raised differently and even families within the U.S. conflict with one another because how they have raised their kids. Most people do not like change when it comes to rules or religion so this is where conflict comes into play.

Violence is a part of human nature. In a perfect world, there would be no violence, but there is no such thing. While people should just get along, there will always be fights in the world. It is just a fact.

Some people have thick skulls and need to be right, and most of the time its their way or the highway. there way is right no matter what, taht's just how people are i think. No one wants to be wrong but being able to understand people is a characteristic that not a lot of people have. Everyone wants to be superior but not everyone is right all the time. There really isn't a way in many cultures to say what they are doing is wrong, because we didn't grow up in their culture, taht's what they see in there eyes as ok, same with how we see things differently. it just boils down to how people need to let some things go. Let us do our thing and you doo yours.

These blogs are a perfect example of this, we all view a different way, the responses may be similar but there certainly disagreements. And these are very controversial issues like abortion and legalizing marijuana. It depends on the person on what's right and what's wrong. Someone may think that abortion is ok while another person thinks its completely wrong. We all are also raised differently and are shown different ways to view the world. There will always be disagreements, and you just have to be the bigger person and just listen and then go on with your life, that's how I was raised and it's worked out pretty well so far.
