Imigrants come to our country because their countries are very poor and they want to make a better living for their families. For example, majority of the imigrants work hard on their jobs to send the money they make back to their countries to support their families they lefted behind. And thats okay, but with the economy being so messed up right now, they are taking away from my fellow American's household, because they have jobs and we don't. Dornella Offord

I don't feel they come over here for the whole purpose to take our jobs. Besides, why do we as Americans say "our jobs"? They just want to make a living. Farron Velles

will they can take less pay because they get a work visa an don't pay taxes. They also live in comunity house with severl.

David just so you know they have to pay taxes just like we do, but they have ways that they don't pay as much as we do.

American say "Our Jobs" because we were born and raised as americans. I think that we should have first dibs at getting jobs in our own country before imigrants. If we go to their country, do you think they will give an american a job before they give their own one? True, they do work for less pay then americans and thats why people hire them before they hire us. But I have to admit they are hard workers. Dornella Offord

I don't have a straight forward opinion . I've worked with them and had them on my crews, so...
As long as they don't take my jobs and don't mess with me, I don't know.

I've heard some people argue that nearly all of us are illegal immigrants in the sense that we took much of the U.S. over from native Americans. This sounds right to me. I don't think just because we got here first (actually second or maybe even third) that means we have more rights than those who weren't lucky enough to be born here. Doesn't this issue come down to luck? We Americans who are fortunate enough to be born here have more rights to the land than someone with the bad luck to be born in a poorer country? Doesn't sound fair to me. I'm fine with immigrants of all sorts and think we need to make adjustmentsthat help make the world more equitable for all.

i do think the imigrants come to the U.S. and take the jobs that the american people need. some factor's hire them to do the jobs before they will hire u.s. people. when their are america people that need jobs to take care of their family's.
