Global warming: is it real?

Do you think Global Warming is a real issue? How is global warming affecting us today? Do you think the Earth will look different and feel different in 30 years? Some people think scientists are creating theories and throwing out numbers irresponsibily. Others believe these theories are real. If you do think global warming is real, do you think we are trying hard enough to fight it? Any comments you have on this subject would be appreciated.

I do think global warming is a real issue, but I don’t think it is something that people are causing. The Al Gore’s of the world use the climate as their way to promote, there agenda. They would like people to just take their word as fact, and they thing people are dumb, but smart people will look in to things people say and question. If you believe what the Al Gore’s think, then you believe that CO2 gases are destroying our climate, and that people are the major factor to the amount of CO2 in the atmosphere. It is true that CO2 does heat up the Earth, but the gases are caused from the SUN. The causing element is when there is a Sun Flare. This Sun Flare emits massive amounts of radiation. When the Sun Flares hit the Earth’s has a higher amount of CO2 that is created. I’m not going to pretended like I understand this, but the people that would like to arguments the, “Global Warming activist” will not take a head to head fight with scientist. The reason why they will not take on the scientist is, because the data that proves global warming wrong is so strong there is no point in trying to argue. I think global warming should start to be called global climate change. Just like the climate has changed though the history of the world.
Yes the earth will look and feel different in 30 years. This is because the earth is destine to change just like you will not look the same why that you do today, as you will in 30 years.

I think global warming is a real issue. There are plenty of ways that show us how global warming is affecting us today. For example, the polar ice caps are melting, it's raining in places it's never rainded before and plenty of other wierd things going on with the weather. The earth looked different 30 years ago and if people continue to destroy the earth, it will look different 30 years from now.I think the people who believe that global warming is a serious matter are the ones trying to fight it by recycling and doing other things that will help the situation. But for the other people who don't know anything about global warming, are the ones who are not trying to fight it. How can you fix something when you're unaware it's broken?

I do believe that global warming is a real issue. I haven't really thought about if people just guess on numbers and facts saying how bad it really is. But I have noticed a difference in the weather. This year for instance we had snow in april. When is the last time that has happened? It seems as though the winters get milder each year and last longer. I thinl that the awareness is out there, but not everyone is taking steps to help. At this rate, the earth will be different 30 years from now. How different, I couldn't guess. But I do feel that there needs to be a change for the better.

i think that global warming is an issue. i dont know the scientific ways that it is affecting us today but i know that it is. i have noticed the weather being different in just our area. i know during the winter my parents always comment on how the winters are so much better than they were before. my parents always said that they used to get crazy amounts of snow and now we are lucky to have a big snow storm. i think that global warming is the cause of that and if that much change has happened in the last probably 15 years then i bet that in 30 years there will be a huge difference from today. i dont think that enough people are trying to help fight global warming but the people that are trying to stop global warming are trying very hard. i personally havent done anything to help fight global warming but someday i would like to. hopefully someday alot more people are working towards stopping global warming, but right now i dont think people are too terrible concerned.

Yeah I think that it is a real issue. The weather is alot different now than what it was when I was a child, so I think it is affecting us in that way. There seems to be a lot more natural disasters now than what there used to be. Yeah I think that the Earth will look and feel a lot different. No I don't think we are trying hard enough to fight global warming. I'm sure there are alot more things that we can do to help this, but it doesnt seem like a big issue for most people so they dont really worry about it.

I believe that global warming is a real issue. It is I believe the begin of the end. Its not that big of an effect to the average person, but in due time it will become so. I believe in 30 years the world will be a totallly different places. Climates all around the world will change. The hottest places will be come cold and dry then vis-versa. No one is trying hard enought to fight global warming. It is being talked about highly, but isn't get the world wide recognition that is should be. Very few numbers of people are pushing toward stopping it. Even with celebrities like Al Gore pushing the need to stop global warming it just isn't getting in clear focus to world that we need to try to reverse this process.

Honestly I do not know much about global warming. I do think it is something taht will not be in effect for many years. I think that it is a process that will take years to start seeing effects from it.

I believe global warming is a farily real issue, but there isn't really much people are doing anything about this issue. People don't care as mucn as we should because there are other important things to worry about them gobal warming. I do believe that in 30 years this world is going to be different, I don't think it'll change much but some. I really don't think we or the people that should care about gobal warming are going to care about this problem until it's to late.

I think it is unfair to claim Global Warming is going to ruin our environment until we know for sure the effects of increased greenhouse gases. I do however feel that entirely too many people are jumping on the "go-green" bandwagon without realizing what exactly they are doing. While many of them support the idea of using less fossil fuels (who doesn't?) they all seem to forget that Methane and other gases play just as big of a role. Methane levels in our atmosphere have risen quite dramatically as a result of increased bovine production. With more cows comes more Methane.

With that being said, we could err on the side of precaution and start to limit our wastes. For instance, we could recycle more, begin making our own compost from table scraps, share rides or use mass transit. These are all good ideas and if this theory is true, then we would be a step ahead. Unfortunately, if this Global Warming is real, who is to say it isn't already too late?

I do believe that global warming is a real issue that we are dealing with today. Look at the polar ice caps, they are melting because of global warming. Also the oceans are getting higher. ALso natural disasters are off the charts compared to previous years. Compared to past years, the average temperature is up and its only going to get worse if we do not do anything about it. Co2 is a main cause of global warming, and humans are being very irresponsible when it comes to distributing Co2. Everytime we turn on our cars we are producing CO2. The world is all about going "green" these days. I do believe that some people are trying really hard, while others are not. WE all need to work together if we are going to get anything accomplished. We in America now have laws against pollution and factory's poisining the air with chemicals. But in other country's such as china, there are no such rules, which is not helping in the efforts to cut down on global warming.

i personally dont think that global warming is a issue. people are causing global warming but i beleave that all the numbers are fake. scientist just try to be smart and say that things are going to happene when they usually dont. the only way to stop global warming i think would be to stop doing everything that we do, for instance, stop burning things, stop all combustion transportaion like cars and busses, stop painting things, and many more. so basicaly stop living and find another way to live witch will never happen.

obviously i believe that global warming is real i mean if you look at the facts the earths temperature is increasing. but i don't think the human race is causing it. if you look at the propaganda that the liberal left is shoveling down our thoughts carbon dioxide. but the fact is there are trees out there that produce more carbon dioxide than modern day automobiles. the movie put out by former vice president al gore is about as factual as toy story, this movie is nothing more in propeganda.

Of course global warming is a real issue! Unfortunately the hour has grown too late, and now no amount of action, even if it could immediately bypass all of the resistance from governments and businesses worldwide, can prevent whatever its effects will be. The specific issue is no longer "what caused global warming?"; debating this point is a pointless waste of the little time we DO have. "What can we do now to help us cope with the changes global warming will bring?" is the real issue, because if we fail to address it there is a chance (the actual probability of this chance is both variable and irrelevant)that failing to do so will cause the end of human civilization as we know it.

Personally, I don't hold out much hope. Once we start seeing the big changes that are being predicted, we'll know that the end has truly come.

I think global warming is real. I've already noticed the effects of it this year. This winter seemed warmer than usual to me. I think that in 30 years the earth will look and feel different. The ice has already begun to melt in Antarctica. I think that scientists are throwing out random numbers because there is no way to tell an exact date. I do not think that we are trying hard enough to fight it. Laws should be made and we should stop being lazy and start taking care of our environment.

it is a big issue. I think we really need to come up with better ways to take care of our environment. Everybody knows it's there. Our Earth is not like what it used to be. We have all these factories that give off that nasty smoke that pollutes the air. Cars that give off CO2. We really are not doing a good job to take care of the Earth. I think if we cut down on a lot of it, we wouldn't have the problem of Global Warming. Our seasons have changed. We had winter until April. Our spring is like a few days, then our summers are hot as crap here. We really don't have much of a fall. People keep saying that they are going to try to do better with taking care of our Earth. Those people really don't do anything.

Yes, I think it's a real issue. I also believe alot of the damage probably can't be fixed. The cost of fuel for our cars will help qiute a bit in the future, because I believe we will have to go to alternative ways of transportation other than the good old gasoline run cars. It's hard to say what the earth will look like in 30 years, nobody can tell you. The numbers the scientists are throwing out are most likely their best estimates of whats going on. Some of their theories are probably somewhat accurate. We will have to try harder to stop global warming because of the rising energy costs we all have to pay.

Yes, I do think that global warming is a very real and serious issue. We see and hear about the effects all around us, from more violent and erratic weather patterns, warmer average temperatures, glaciers receding, polar ice melting, holes in the ozone, and many others. Yes, I do think the earth will look and feel different in 30 years because we will continue to use a lot of energy and produce a lot of greenhouse gases. Many of the glaciers out there might completely melt, sea levels will be higher, and temperatures will continue to be warmer, on average. I don't think scientists are exagerrating, and the facts even prove that it's a real issue. Those charts on one of the sites clearly show that average temperatures have been steadily rising over the years and that the amount of greenhous gases in the atmosphere has increased significantly. I don't think we are trying hard enough to fight global warming yet because it hasn't really sunk in for a lot of people and the government. It's good that "going green" is a message that's being talked about and spread around a lot, but not many people are acting on it. We still rely on fossil fuels too much and are still wasteful and irresponsible in our actions. It almost seems like we're waiting for another catastrophe to really show us how serious it is to change to way we live. In the coming years, I hope that a lot is done to convert to cars that run on clean fuel, are electric, or are at least hybrids and to use clean energy for a variety of things rather than using fossil fuels.

The global warming has to be real, i have lived here my whole life and I have never seen weather like this. I wouldnt be suprised if it snowed this summer with how crazy this weather has been and everything. The climate is being destryed as we speak with all of this pollution and what not going on.

I think that global warming is an issue, but the earth is bound to change at some point. It will never stay the same and look the same. It will be constantly changing. There are things that people could do to cut down on the amount of pollution there is . We can cut down on the amount of aerosols. We need to find a way to make environment friendly versions of all products. I think that people need to not just be worrying about how the world should be now, but instead for our children and our children's children and so on. They should be able to live in a world that is just as gorgeous as the one we have now.

Global warming is definately a real issue. People have been telling us about it for years, and pushing us to improve our lives so we can have this earth longer.

Very few people take it seriously. But think about it.. In the past when have we ever had 70+ degree days in october and november?
