I believe when its time for someone to go, its God's choice. I think no one should decide if someone lives or dies. I think that is still murder. Death is a netral part of live happens, and if a human takes that life, they have sined.

I think it’s okay for families to make decisions for someone in a coma. If it’s been along time and the doctors are saying things aren’t going good you can feel the answer in your gut. If you feels it’s time for them to go you should make that decision for them because they can’t make it. Or maybe you don’t want them to suffer. Just like the dying situation. If they are suffering and you don’t want that pain in them it’s okay for you to let them go. Heaven is a much better place anyways.

I believe it should hands down be up to the family. Personnally speaking, I know what my parents would want for me. It can be a hard disision but it has to be made.

It should be a law that poeple have a will and that in their will that put things in there like this. If a person gose into a situation were they are unable to make choices and stay alive under their own power they make the choice to keep going or give up. Because when left up to the family it turns into weather or not they liked them and not about what is best for them.

Absolutely. If family didn't do it, who would? I would hope that most family members have discussed this before it even happens. Many older people will have a D.N.R. next to there bed or will even carry it on them. This is of great help to the family and the medical technicians. As a family member you only want what's best for that person. You would have to ask yourself "what would I want them to do for me". Personally speaking, God would tell me what to do!

I would have to say that it greatly depends on the situation at hand. There are many variables to the hundreds of millions of possible situations, but overall i would have to say that i believe that it is alright for the person with the "power of attorney" to make a life altering decision. Usually a person that is dying or in a coma already has signed or given "power of attorney" to someone. The person with the power of attorney would then be the one to make all the legal decisions for them. This person is usually someone close to you, (wife, kid, mom, dad, etc..). After all, i would trust my parents to make the decision that they think i would want for myself. -Alex Gentner-

I personly think that no one should be able to make a dicision on if someone lives or not, they should just play it by hand and if they die then thats because it was meant to happen not because somebody said pull they plug. I herd of of people making it out of commas and making maraculis recovers.
