What are your opinions on teen pregnancy? Should the teen have a say on whether or not they would like to keep the baby? What risks are they taking and how can they learn from their mistakes?

I think if the teen has a strong close family,and both father and mother in the home,it would work out.The father and mother would have to let the teen know how it could be a mistake,but the truth is it happens in the world today.
I think the teen should have a choice on whether or not they want to keep the baby. Although the teen should talk it over with there parents and family. Even though that teen might be the one having the child He/She is going to need help raising that child. In the world we live in today being a single teenage parent with only a highschool degree(if that) isn't going to do much for you or the child. This is why it is important to have that support from your parents. As far as learning from their mistakes, the pregnancy process alone should help them learn from their mistakes, if not avoid from making the same mistakes again
Teens should have a say so, but they also should listen to the advice of their parents. Babies having Babies is never a good thing. Mistakes happen, so try to think of the infant first, and what kind of life can you offer to it. This one better not happen to my daughter!! ~Char chipman
well if you're dumb enough to get pregnant then you have to take care of the mistake. adoption is a good way to give up a child only if you're not fit to care for the child. personally you should have a certain IQ to breed. a lot a teen pregnancies and be taken care of if the guy would WRAP HIS TOOL!!
I believe that if the girl cant keep her legs shut then she should ahve to take care of the kid, unless otherwise unfit to do so. And if she knows the father she should find a way to get money to take care of the kid if they dont get married to take care of the kid as a family. So the moral is Guys keep it covered, girls take the pill or don't spred them.
i think everyone should be able to do what they want to because it is a free world. if you want to have a baby at the age of 10, you should be able to because in the end who is still responsible for the child? not you!
i think its defently something that is just stupid. it should never happen but people do make mistakes and condoms aren't full proof. the two parties envolved should have the final say on weather or not to keep the child. although most teenage guys would run it should be law that if the child is going to stay with the mother that they must be involved in the childs life. child support isn't enough, the values of life have been lost over the generations and we need to get them back before we destroy the world. children/ relationships are big connectors to moral values that are needed for this world to live and for us to continue to live.
I think teenagers have a right to decide rather or not they want to keep the baby. I think mates should make better job on protecting themselves. If they don’t know how to be safe then they shouldn’t have sex at all. Sorry youngsters.
Teen pregnancy is not good because if you are a pregnant teen you dont get to live there life as well, however if a teen wants to be pregnant that is there choice.
i think that it is bad cuz they are not prepared to have a kid.i think so because they need whats best for the kid not whats best for them.they are taking risks on getting pregnant and thats a big mistake to learn from.
