Should parents give their kids a time limit on the computer? In some cases it is not safe to have a child on the internet because they can end up meeting up with someone who is way older than they are and end up getting raped. They also can abuse their bodies by putting up naked photos of themselves. Do you think parents should have a lock on certain websites for their teenage kids?

I think parents should keep a eye on their children,when they are on the internet.As far as time goes,it do not take long to get in touble on the internet.
I do think every child should be monitored while online and guide lines should be set to what web site they can search. There are to many preditors online looking for a child as well as things they shouldnt see.

Really it's not going to make a differnce whether or not parents put locks on the computer or set a time limit for thier child to use the internet. Kids are slick and parents don't give their kid as much credis as they should. Kids now days have no problem finding ways around getting on the computer or going to sites they they're not supposed to. Phones are basicly mini computers now they could be up all night on the internet with the phone and you wouldn't even know it. Its best to just talk wit ya kids and tell em da do's and the dont's about the computer.( think about it this way how many times did yo parents tell you not to do something or dat you couldn't do something, but yet you fougnht a way to do it anyway...............................YEAH! Thats what I thought)

there should always be a parental control on the computer
yes i think parents should limit childrens time on the computer. if on the computer to long at a time you start hurting your eyes, hands, and back if you dont use the correct form. Then if they are not careful they can get in troble. might meet a person and then they show up on your step and then they could get raped. they can get hurt by friend and then they might kill themselves like what happen 2 years ago. they can put on two much information on the internet you can be found. parents should lock websites for young children. but if they dont they should look over the wedsite with the child to see what they look at

kids and computers are a bad combination. for example take fat carl for instance. you know it aint good when he yells across the room think of something fucked up and out there for me to look up and computer.

kids can get themselves in big trouble on the computers today. i mean getting on nudie sites. looken at bad things such as maken shit.

its up to the parents personally. if your okay with your child going to whatever sites they want then i say just keep a small eye on them. if your not okay with that then you might as well shut down your childs access to the internet because even with a GREAT firewall it is very easy to get into sites that you shouldn't.

Yes i think that parents should limit what their children are looking at on the internet there is a lot of stuff out there that a child can put in and not really be searching for it maybe that could be what is wrong with society not enough parents controlling there computer and what their kids are looking at

I don’t think kids should have a limit on the computer. No matter what the time if they have a certain thing they want to do they will do it in the time they have on the computer. You should let the kids know the dangers with the internet and make sure they understand.
